Grand Slam of Darts 2013 Results: Predicting the Outcomes of Day 4's Matches
With only a handful of places in the competition's second round left to fight for, this year's Grand Slam of Darts is entering its most heated phase as the curtain prepares to fall on the group stage.
Defending champion Raymond van Barneveld made a shocking exit from the tournament this week thanks to a 5-3 defeat at the hands of Mervyn King, who, along with Tony O'Shea, moves on from Group E.
Having said that, Tuesday offers a selection of Grand Slam hopefuls a chance of salvaging the most from their troubles thus far, while the likes of Phil Taylor, Ronny Huybrechts and James Wade have already sealed their spots in the knockout stages.
Ahead of the final group encounters, read on for a prediction of how things will unfold Tuesday and a preview of the most promising matchups.

Michael van Gerwen vs. Kim Huybrechts
Having won the first two matches of his 2013 Grand Slam campaign, Michael van Gerwen meets the younger of the Huybrechts brothers, Kim, hoping to secure a 100 percent record from the group stage.
In eight previous matches, the spoils are shared between this continental pair, who have each won on four occasions.
Huybrechts was successful in coming back from his opening loss against Dean Winstanley and dished out some swift redemption on Group D whipping boy Vincent van der Voort, triumphing 5-0 over the Dutchman.
Now, the 27-year-old will likely find that last year's Grand Slam finalist, Mighty Mike, is a far tougher challenge.
Prediction: Van Gerwen 5-2 K. Huybrechts
Adrian Lewis vs. Christian Kist
This will be the first time Christian Kist and Adrian Lewis will meet in a PDC competition, and Englishman Lewis goes into the fixture as the heavy favourite.
Sunday evening saw Ronny Huybrechts take Group C's top spot after managing to overcome Lewis' best efforts. Kist also fell to the Belgian 5-3 in the tournament's opening round.
That being said, Kist is certainly capable of bouncing back considering he became BDO world champion last year, making for what should be an entertaining clash between 2012's giants.
Prediction: Lewis 5-3 Kist
Gary Anderson vs. Peter Wright
Two of only three Scotsmen in this year's group stage, either Gary Anderson or Peter Wright will be going home empty-handed by the end of Tuesday's proceedings.
The veterans are each on two points going into their head-to-head, with James Wade already having booked his place in the next phase of the tournament.
It's a tough contest to call. Anderson just edges his compatriot 10-8 in their previous 18 meetings, so this could really be anyone's day.
Prediction: Anderson 4-5 Wright
