Ryan Fitzpatrick's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Jake Locker's Injury
Tennessee Titans starting quarterback Jake Locker exited Sunday's Week 10 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a non-contact injury.
Following the Titans' loss to Jacksonville, Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reported that Locker's season is over.
That puts backup Ryan Fitzpatrick under center for Tennessee moving forward, but he should not be considered a viable fantasy football option, even after a rather impressive performance in a 29-27 loss.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In completing 22 of 33 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns and running for another score, there is a case to be made for Fitzpatrick if your fantasy team has a dearth of quarterbacks.
However, it's worth looking at Fitzpatrick's track record before he took on one of the NFL's worst teams on Sunday.
Fitzpatrick made two starts in place of Locker after the third-year signal-caller went down with a hip injury, and he threw two interceptions in each of those contests.
Granted, they were against tough opposition in the Kansas City Chiefs and the Seattle Seahawks, but accuracy has also eluded Fitzpatrick this season. Prior to Week 10, he had completed just 52.6 percent of his passes and has also fumbled three times, making him a liability to turn the ball over at a rapid rate.
The veteran Fitzpatrick filled in for Locker in Week 10 and played well, but was stripped late in the game, and the fumble was returned for the game-winning score.
The Titans are on a short week in Week 11 and face the AFC South-leading Indianapolis Colts in a Thursday night prime-time showdown. It's not an ideal time to start Fitzpatrick, so leave him out of fantasy lineups.
Fitz does have some intrigue as a long-term QB2 option, however, in light of the news that Locker will likely miss the rest of the year, as reported. He has above-average mobility and should be a reliable source of yardage.
