New Players? New Team?
The Saints grabbed a few players that could help tremendously in the defensive department.
They signed Rod Coleman from the Falcons and drafted Malcolm Jenkins out of Ohio State which hopefully help and maybe allow for some wins in support of what was last year's most prolific offense.
Deuce McAllister was pulled from the main running back spot when Reggie Bush came aboard. This could prove to be a big problem for the Saints since Reggie is not large enough or well equipped to handle the blows of the position by himself, however Mike Bell and Pierre Thomas could help out.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
If they keep the Drew Brees and Marques Colston combination, the Saints could prove to be unstoppable on offense, but they need some help in defense to make that even remotely possible.
Another highlight player whose performance will be vital is tight end Jeremy Shockey, if he can stay uninjured. He played his first season with the Saints in 2008 but he was on the bench half the time with an injury, but if he stays healthy, he could be a great asset.
If he can come around on defense to work with Coleman and Jenkins and the rest of the defensive line, they can stop the other team and maybe win some more games.
Another thing the Saints will need to work on is their losing streak on the road. They can crush most wins at the Superdome but take them out of their comfort zone and the Saints are looking a little weak
If the Saints can overcome that, then they could be the best team in the NFC South.
