The Real Truth About Cleveland

What most people in Cleveland can't grasp is, Cleveland does not have a professional team curse on winning championships. The curse is the city, not some mythical spirit who makes fumbles, missed shots, and first round draft picks to go into exile.

For anyone who has spent any time in that hell hole, they can understand why Cleveland can't win a championship. It's the local media who consistantly take on the  "we're No.1, but we got a bad break attitude" year after year, the press knows that futile attempts, and building up lousy teams will give "the little people" something to hold on to.

How about the truth? These owners and GM"s have no clue on how to build a winning team. The list is long of players, and coaches who left Cleveland only to win championships in other cities.

The most recent fiasco of the LeBron Cavaliers is a perfect example. Have you ever seen a team enter the playoffs with only one player contributing? Most of these guys thought they were in for contract renewals.The owner, Mr Gilbert, might be better off releasing the entire team, hiring 10 hot chicks, and LeBron.

This would save millions and might serve as a distraction for opponents. Keep in mind the girls just need to stand in place, while LeBron continues to throw up underhand half court shots.

Dan Gilbert and Danny Ferry, need to move on. This will insure a great future for them. As far as basketball is concerned, turn it over to the Chinese, they have a better chance at building a team in the Forest City.
