The Pelicans' New Mascot Pierre Will Haunt Your Dreams

The New Orleans Pelicans figure to be a fringe contender for one of the few playoff spots up for grabs in the tough Western Conference.

In turn, they are pulling out all the stops in an attempt to intimidate opponents on their home court. 

Presenting the Pelicans' menacing 13th "man": Pierre the Pelican, making his regular season (and Twitter) debut.

That's one scary bird! Pierre might not be able to take the court with Jrue Holiday, Anthony Davis and company, but he and his cousins have a couple of ideas on how to harass the competition.
