Ten Questions for DeSean Jackson

Drafted out of Cal in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft, WR DeSean Jackson emerged as Donovan McNabb's favorite target in 2008, leading the team in receiving yards with 912 with two touchdowns to boot.

With the 2009 draft completed and Philly looking forward to next season, we asked DeSean about his thoughts on the Jeremy Maclin, the NFC East, and the Eagle's chances to win it all.

1. Did you follow draft day closely? What do you think about the Eagle's draft choices this season?

2. The Eagles took Jeremy Maclin with a view of him becoming their go-to WR for years to come. How do you think your game and his will mesh next season?

3. Like Maclin, you were also a highly-rated WR who slid a little in the draft. Describe the experience of waiting for your name to be called on draft day.

4. What was it like last year, to be thrown right into the number 1 WR position for the Philadelphia Eagles as a rookie?

5. There were times where TV cameras would catch you getting an earful from either Donovan McNabb or the coaching staff after a blown play. What would they be telling you, and did that affect the way you would play the rest of the game?

6. A lot has been made of McNabb's future with the Eagles. How does the constant speculation over his future affect the players, if at all?

7. As a rookie, were there any veterans you looked up to or gave you any advice about the pro game or life as a pro?

8. How did the players react to the news that Brian Dawkins was being let go this offseason? Any personal thoughts?

9. As a Cali boy, what is it like, having to move to the northeast and playing your pro ball in Philadelphia, a town known for showing its athletes "tough love"?
