Michael Vick: Which Jersey Will He Wear in 2009?
Now that Michael Vick is out of prison and serving his final two months at his home in Virginia, the discussion of him returning in the NFL can get started.
Several NFL teams have stated that they have no interest of adding the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback to their roster, but that is expected because Vick hasn’t thrown a football in two years. Once Vick is reinstated by the league, works out for different NFL teams, and shows that he still has the skill set, there will be a few teams that will express interest in Vick.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Bill Belichick does not shy away from taking risk and, if Vick shows that he still has the ability to be a NFL player, the Pats will find away to fit him in to their system. Also, the New England has a strong locker room and they will make sure that Vick will keep his head on right and maintain focus.
Washington Redskins
Most owners will not likely take the risk of taking Vick because, wherever Vick goes, PETA will be right behind him. Redskins Owner Daniel Snyder has made bold moves in the past and does not shy away from controversy. If Vick goes to Washington, he could work out as a quarterback because I don’t think the organization is sold on Jason Campbell.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Before Vick was released from prison in Kansas, he got a visit from Tony Dungy, who has worked with Steelers' head coach Mike Tomlin. Vick could be a slash-type player such as Antwan Randle El when he was donning the black and gold.
New Orleans Saints
I don’t think that the Falcons want Vick to go to one of their division rivals but, at the same time, beggars can’t be choosers. If the Saints are the only takers, the Falcons don’t have a choice. Again, he won’t be the starting quarterback anytime soon because Drew Brees is one of the best passers in the game today, but the Saints could use him as a slash player. They can have him and Reggie Bush on the field at the same time to have more speed.
Minnesota Vikings
Over the years, Vick has torched the Vikings. In fact, Vick’s shoes were in the Hall of Fame from his performance against Minnesota in 2002 where he broke the single game rushing record for a quarterback. The Vikings could have the mentality “We could never beat the guy, so why not get him to beat NFC opponents?” He could compete for the quarterback spot because there is uncertainty at the position.
There is a chance that only one or two teams will show strong interest in him. But, in the NFL, it only takes one team for a player to impress, and Vick does that. His road to redemption will begin and he can try to put the mess that he created behind him.
