Rory Sabbatini Wins, But No, You're Not Better Than Tiger!

Rory Sabbatini got the win at Byron Nelson's tournament in Texas.

I, for one, know, Tiger loves beating this guy. But congratulations is still in order for Mr. Sabbatini who beat a decent, but not loaded field this week.

Next week, the tour heads for Colonial, and the Crowne Plaza Invitational, in Fort Worth, Texas,

Phil Mickelson is the defending champion, but probably will not play this week. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Phil has suspended his PGA schedule for the time being to support and be there for his family.

Golf seems so trivial sometimes, when life issues take all our attention.

My fantasy team did well this week, as I had Rory Sabbatini on my team, coming on from the bench to win.

My other players recorded two 18ths and a 26th place also, along with the winner of the tournament. 

This will again bump me up a little in the Yahoo Fantasy Golf standings.

In the coming week, I will select on my team, Geoff Ogilvy as my A player. Kenny Perry will be his back-up.

B players will be Tim Clarke, and Hunter Mahan, with back ups on the bench of Sean O Hair and Jeff Klauk.

My C player will be Brandt Jobe, with Jason Dufner on the bench, in case he gets hot.

Out of respect for Mrs. Mickelson, no golf joke this week. Instead let us all send support to Phil, in letters of support, thoughts, and prayers.

We hope all will be well, and Phil can get back to his business at hand, winning golf tournaments.
