Rugby League World Cup 2013 Fixtures: Schedule and Kick-off Times

Greg JohnsonJun 8, 2018

A thrilling opening weekend to the 2013 Rugby League World Cup saw a surprisingly accomplished England side narrowly defeated by Australia and a lively tie between New Zealand and Samoa that eventually ended 42-24 in favour of the Kiwi's as they overcame a last fight back from Toa Samoa.

France and Italy also recorded wins to get their tournaments up and running against Papua New Guinea and Wales respectively.

With 14 nations in total competing in this year's World Cup, there's plenty of rugby to be played in the coming weeks. The action will be split between two groups of four (Groups A and B) and two groups of three (Groups C and D).

Interestingly, nations in Groups C and D will also play against each other, with three inter-group matches scheduled to increase the numbers of matches in order to make up for the lack of a fourth team in each group.

Below is a rundown of the fixtures for each group, followed by a full schedule.
