Evegeni Malkin Magic Strikes Again
Another stellar performance by a very determined team, as the Pittsburgh Penguins put the Carolina Hurricanes on the ropes Saturday night with a 6-2 convincing win. Pittsburgh looks as if they learnt a huge lesson from last year’s appearance in the final with the Detroit Red Wings.
Do not take the foot off the gas and Malkin again lead the way with three points; while Crosby, Gill Guerin, Ruslan Fedotenko, Chris Kunitz, and Sergei Gonchar each contributed two. Mrs. Guru, who hates to be wrong—might concede that she could be. As I recall, I said Pens in five.
Well—I’ve been wrong before, and if proven so, feel free to ask me what I know about anything pertaining to hockey but I have been watching the game since Syl Apps raised the Stanley Cup for the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1942.
So in my experienced opinion, if the Pens keep to the same game plan and perform as solidly together as they did last night, there should be no problem in ending this series Tuesday night.
