Manchester United have launched an internal investigation after a Swastika-style logo appeared on a weekly email sent to fans.

After receiving backlash on Twitter, the club’s head of media, David Sternberg, apologised and revealed that United were looking into the matter.

As reported by Mark Ogden in The Daily Telegraph, the headline on the email, "New Order," also has Nazi connotations with reference to Adolf Hitler's speech calling for a European New Order.

New Order is also the name of a famous Manchester band.
