NFL Injury Report Week 8: Team-by-Team Updates, Inactive List and More
Week 7 turned out to be devastating for several NFL stars who suffered severe injuries, some of which are season-ending.
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne, St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford and Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing were all dealt season-ending blows, while other notable players like Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley and Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin are set to miss significant time.
But while those stars begin the grueling recovery process, a handful of other big names are eyeing a potential return to the field in Week 8.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Below, we'll highlight a few nicked-up players hoping to return from injury this weekend and get you set with a complete list of inactives for Week 8.
Roddy White, Atlanta Falcons, WR
Status: Out
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White had his consecutive-games streak snapped at 133 in Week 7 after being placed on the inactive list prior to the Falcons' win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will miss Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals as well, according to CBS Sports' Eye on Football:
The 31-year-old has been banged up all year and is currently battling through hamstring and ankle injuries that have rendered him ineffective through the first seven weeks.
With Julio Jones out for the season with a foot injury, Matt Ryan and the Falcons' offense need White to return to full strength as soon as possible.
Michael Vick, Philadelphia Eagles, QB
Status: Active
A scary head injury suffered by second-year passer Nick Foles has opened the door for veteran Michael Vick to return as the Philadelphia Eagles' starting quarterback in Week 8.
Vick, who has been dealing with a nagging hamstring injury over the past few weeks, will start on Sunday against the New York Giants, per Eagles Insider on Twitter:
Vick last played in the first half of Week 5's win over the New York Giants, a game in which he was performing well. Foles has started the last two games for Philadelphia, with the Eagles going 1-1 over that time.
Percy Harvin, Seattle Seahawks, WR
Status: Out
Dynamic wide receiver Percy Harvin has yet to play a single snap for the Seattle Seahawks since being traded from Minnesota last March. The 25-year-old underwent hip surgery this past summer, causing him to miss the entire preseason and now the Seahawks' first eight regular-season games.
Nearly three months have passed since Harvin's surgery, though, and ESPN's Terry Blount reports that despite the fact the fifth-year player returned to practice in a limited fashion this week, he won't be activated in Week 8.
Head coach Pete Carroll provided reasoning for his decision, per Blount:
"He won't be playing in this game. He won't be able to do it this quick. We're managing his rehabilitation and trying to do it right. We worked him hard [earlier this week], then we rested him. We'll continue to do that until his conditioning is caught up and he's ready to go.
"
Seattle will have three more opportunities to debut Harvin before its Week 12 bye.
