DLC Packs/Season Pass

The game's three DLC packs offer Superstars from a range of eras. Play as Bruno Sammartino to celebrate WWE's early years, as members of nWo to relive WCW's heyday or play as Big E. Langston to bowl foes over.

The nWo Pack will include nWo versions of:

  • Big Show (The Giant)
  • Kevin Nash
  • Scott Hall
  • Scott Steiner
  • Randy Savage
  • Syxx
  • Curt Hennig

The WWE Legends and Creation Pack will offer:

  • Bruno Sammartino
  • Rick Rude
  • Virgil
  • Dusty Rhodes
  • Jake Roberts

The WWE Superstars and Moves Pack includes:

  • Brie and Nikki Bella
  • Summer Rae
  • Big E. Langston
  • Fandango
  • 30 additional moves such as the Koji Clutch and Black Widow

Can't decide which to snap up? 2K Sports offers a season pass to solve that problem.

Fans who buy all three packs for $20 (£16) will save versus buying each pack individually. Plus, joyous, random pairings like a Fandango vs. Sammartino vs. Syxx Triple Threat match become a possibility.

WWE.com shared a screenshot photo gallery of the various DLC additions for those interested in how well the game captures these wrestlers.

Developers Break Down New Moves

Aubrey Sitterson and Bryan Williams of 2K Sports recently sat down to take a look at the 300 new moves featured in WWE 2K14.

Many of these will be familiar to fans who have been following news for the game for the past few months such as the DDT on the ring apron and kicking an opponent's head into the ring post. Other "OMG" moves include double finishers.

Kane does a choke slam on two foes at a time, for example.

Other additions include the crowd reacting to a Superstar's taunt such as R-Truth getting fans to say "what's up?" or Daniel Bryan's kicks inspiring the audience to chant "yes!" Comeback sequences have been added for both current Superstars and for names from the past like Hulk Hogan.

Hogan's "hulking" up routine is captured well in the game and furthers the nostalgia factor of the game.

WWE 2K14 also features the "resiliency" ability as a means to break out of submission holds. The mop under the ring for matches with weapons has been replaced with a bat.

The rest of the changes work to add realism to the game by capturing trademark moves like Ted DiBiase's back elbow off the second rope and Seth Rollins' powerbomb into the corner.

Live Steam Event

Monday's Raw will feature one simulated match from the 30 Years of WrestleMania mode based on fan voting. Fans who want to see more of the game in action should tune into a live stream centered around showcasing matches from the mode.

The event starts at noon PT on Twitch.TV.

For those who don't catch it live, head to the WWE 2K YouTube channel to check it out.

More Entrance/Finisher Videos

Gamers continue to get a look at how the game's Superstars look and move via videos showing them entering the ring and finishing foes off with their signature moves.

This week's latest set of clips include:

Guerrero rides in on his low-rider, Bryan appears how he looked and acted early in his Team Hell No run and Layla simply looks fantastic. Not long from now, gamers will be controlling these Superstars at home rather than experiencing them via YouTube.

Armed with impressive depth and options, WWE 2K14 is charging toward its release date like Bryan heading toward a stunned opponent in the corner.
