Liverpool beat West Brom 2-0 on the road in their last match, the Reds' fourth straight win and ninth win in ten matches.

In their last five matches, Liverpool have won four and drawn one, picking up thirteen points from the available fifteen. Liverpool are currently second in the league, three points clear of second placed Chelsea.

A win or a draw against Tottenham in this match would secure the Reds second place at the end of the season, after defending champions Manchester United secured their third successive league title after their draw with Arsenal last weekend.

Liverpool will likely field a full strength side in their last match of the season, with Phillip Degen currently the Red's only injury.

Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur beat Manchester City 2-1 at White Hart Lane in their last league encounter, Spurs' sixth win in their last nine matches.

In their last five, Tottenham have won three, drawn one, and lost one, earning ten points from the potential fifteen. Tottenham currently sit eighth in the league, and a win in this match would secure Spurs a spot in next season's Europa League if Fulham lose against Everton at Craven Cottage.

Tottenham may welcome Aaron Lennon and Jonathan Woodgate back from injury for this match, but Spurs will still be without Tom Huddlestone, Jamie O'Hara and Darren Bent.

Prediction

Spurs won 2-1 earlier this season in the Tottenham vs Liverpool league fixture, and Tottenham also beat Liverpool 4-2 in the League Cup.

After learning that their title bid was over last weekend after Man Utd drew with Arsenal to guarantee the trophy, Liverpool are only playing to secure second place in this match.

Tottenham still have plenty to play for, though, and a win here could secure the last available spot in next season's Europa League. The Spurs, however, will have their work cut out for them against a side that has not lost at home in the league all season, and Liverpool will still want to finish the season on a high with a win here.

The Reds will enter the match as favourites to win, but Tottenham have been in impressive form as of late and so a draw could be a possibility on the last day of the Premier League season.
