Kellen Clemens' Updated Fantasy Value After Sam Bradford's Injury
St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford left Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers, and backup Kellen Clemens came into the game to run the offense.
As if leaving the game wasn't bad enough, Bradford was unfortunately carted off the field because of the injury. Needless to say, he missed the remainder of the Week 7 matchup and his outlook doesn't look great.
Clemens was just 2-of-4 passing for 19 yards after Bradford went 21-of-30 for 255 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Clemens has little starting experience outside of 2007 with the New York Jets, though that experience is valuable.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
For his career, Clemens has a completion percentage of 51.9 with seven touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He has just over 2,200 passing yards in 30 career games and a 4-8 record as a starter.
Fantasy owners should shy away from Clemens. If they weren't prepared to start—let alone own—Bradford, then picking Clemens up wouldn't be smart. The Rams don't have many offensive weapons and really don't have a strong running game to balance the attack.
Furthermore, St. Louis has a tough matchup in Week 8 against the Seattle Seahawks, followed by a meeting with the Tennessee Titans.
Leave Clemens for the waiver wire but, on the off chance he does well, owners shouldn't hesitate to give him a look as a stash.
