WWE 2K14 Roster: Superstars Fans Would Most Like to See as DLC
Anticipation is certainly mounting for the Oct. 29 release of WWE 2K14, and a big reason for that is the game's expansive roster. The vast majority of the current WWE roster is represented in the game, and there are plenty of legendary wrestlers from past years who gamers will be able to utilize as well.
As great as the roster is, there is no question that it could be enhanced even more by downloadable content in the coming months. Here is a look at the current roster sans DLC, courtesy of WWE.com:

That roster undoubtedly offers plenty of replay value, especially due to the enhanced customization available in WWE 2K14 and the always popular Create-a-Superstar mode. With that said, here are three Superstars who fans would jump at the chance to acquire should they be added as downloadable content.
Bray Wyatt
Bray Wyatt quickly became a favorite of WWE fans during his run in NXT, and the excitement surrounding his main roster debut was immense. Wyatt made his presence felt immediately by targeting Kane, and he has wreaked havoc on the WWE roster ever since.
Wyatt's debut came a bit too late for him to be included on the in-game roster, but he has become an integral part of WWE programming over the past few months, as he is regularly featured on both Raw and SmackDown alongside Luke Harper and Erick Rowan.
Wyatt was featured in a WWE video game a couple years ago as Husky Harris, but the Wyatt character has yet to make its virtual debut. Wyatt may not be the most technically sound wrestler in the company, but he is quite athletic for a big man, so he would be a fun Superstar to use in the game, especially in squash matches against smaller opponents. The true appeal surrounding Wyatt's potential inclusion in the game, though, focuses on presentation.
The Wyatt Family boasts one of the coolest entrances in the business today, and gamers would undoubtedly love to see it in WWE 2K14. Even if adding Harper and Rowan in addition to Wyatt proves to be too difficult of a task, Wyatt would be fantastic on his own.
All signs point toward Wyatt being a major player in WWE for the foreseeable future, which means he is one possible DLC character that gamers wouldn't hesitate to purchase.
Rob Van Dam
While he may currently be on a break from the company, Rob Van Dam has been hugely important to the WWE since his return at Money in the Bank. RVD seemed to be floundering in TNA, but the spark has returned since coming back to WWE, as Van Dam has put on a number of fantastic matches. His bout with Chris Jericho on Raw shortly after his return still has fans talking, and his most recent hardcore tilt with Alberto Del Rio at Battleground captivated the audience as well.
RVD has always been a favorite in video games due to his explosive moveset. With maneuvers like the Five-Star Frog Splash, Rolling Thunder and the Van Daminator, putting together exciting matches with RVD would be relatively easy. His inclusion would allow for some tantalizing matchups against the likes of CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler and many more. Those matches very well may happen in a WWE ring in the near future, but you can make them happen first in WWE 2K14 should Van Dam be added.
Based on how well the viewing audience has received RVD since his return, he has to be considered one of the most likely candidates for a DLC spot. Since the theme of this year's game relates to WrestleMania, Van Dam is a natural fit. He is a veteran who has had his share of WrestleMania moments, including winning Money in the Bank at WrestleMania 22. There is no question that RVD would create plenty of buzz as part of a DLC pack.
Fandango
He doesn't possess the same momentum that he did around WrestleMania time, but Fandango is still plenty popular with the WWE Universe. After months of hype, Fandango finally burst onto the scene back in March. Following his win over Jericho at WrestleMania XXIX, Fandango was the hottest thing going in WWE, as evidenced by fans starting the "Fandangoing" craze. Fandango has cooled in recent months, as he has largely been used in low-level, midcard feuds, but his character was practically made for a video game.
Fandango is an underrated in-ring performer, and his top-rope leg drop would look great in WWE 2K14. Should Fandango be added as DLC, though, most of the work would certainly go into making his entrance. Fandango has one of WWE's most entertaining entrances—when he and partner Summer Rae sashay their way to the ring, it's a production in itself—and that is certainly something that WWE fans and gamers alike would love to see in video game form.
The developers proved last year that they are capable of creating a complicated dancing entrance by featuring Brodus Clay and the Funkadactyls. There figures to be even more demand for Fandango, as he has been a transcendent character since his debut.
Fandango likely just missed the cut in terms of making the original roster, so conventional wisdom suggests that he is among the top DLC candidates at this point.
