Austin Pettis: Recapping Pettis's Week 6 Fantasy Performance

RotoWireContributor October 14, 2013

Pettis had just one catch for 12 yards during the Ram's 38-13 win over the Texans on Sunday. He was targeted just the one time in this game and has now failed to find the endzone in two of his last three games after back-to-back weeks with a touchdown.
Pettis had steadily become a big factor in the Rams' passing attack, averaging seven targets per game, and turned into a strong red zone target as well, posting four touchdowns over the team's first five games. But he's now seen his targets drop for three straight weeks and hasn't gained more than 60 yards in his last four. His yardage totals have never been substantial, but without the touchdowns, his value in fantasy drops significantly.
