Rory McIlroy Reportedly Dumps Girlfriend Caroline Wozniacki After Twitter Photo

If reports are true, golfer Rory McIlroy and tennis star Caroline Wozniacki have split up after she tweeted a somewhat unflattering photo of him sleeping with his mouth open.

According to Danish tabloid newspaper Ekstra Bladet, Wozniacki has denied the couple split. 

"I'm so tired of the rumors," she said. "They occur every time Rory and I are apart a few days or do not write on Twitter. There is nothing in it, and from now on I just think that I will keep my private life private."

Niamh Horan of the Irish Independent reported Sunday that the tweet may have pushed McIlroy over the edge, leading to an "absolutely devastated" Wozniacki after the ensuing breakup.

If the report is true, this may be one of the oddest things that has led to the end of a relationship.

Per Kyle Porter of CBS Sports, McIlroy's management "did not offer any comment, stating that they do not comment on McIlroy's personal life."
