Why The Seattle Seahawks Should Trade For Bobby Engram
Within the first week of free agency, the Seattle Seahawks signed star receiver TJ Houshmandzadeh. This allows Seattle to have some depth in the receiving corps that was destroyed by injury last season, a key reason the Hawks were as bad as they were.
Why they should get him
A key blow to me is the lack of interest the Seahawks have in re-signing Bobby Engram. This was a very huge mistake, especially for a team that faces many uncertainties in the upcoming season. There is the lingering question of whether Deion Branch can play, not to mention whether Nate Burleson's injury will affect him this upcoming season.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Bobby Engram is a solid consistent wide receiver when he is healthy, and adds a go to player for Matt Hasselbeck. But, since Nate is the slot receiver (which was decided by Jim Mora), this means that Bobby Engram might not find a spot on the team. However, if either Nate or Deion don't make the team, they should be in position to make a trade for Engram.
How they Would Get Him
The Seahawks could easily make a trade with the receiver that didn't make the team, and a sixth round draft pick could easily allow the Seahawks to receive Bobby Engram. If the Seahawks didn't have a failing receiver, that being the options of Burleson or Branch, I don't see the Seahawks needing him.
In the case of the Hawks depth at wide receiver, any receiver of decency would allow openings in the passing game which would be huge for a team that ranked pretty much last in passing last year.
If Seattle would just allow this great receiver to retire in a place that is at least in a spot to win a Superbowl, it would be a great moment in our football memories and would make a great start to the upcoming season for the Seattle Seahawks.
