WWE Superstars Shock Therapy: The Fallout Continues...

Tonight’s broadcast opens with the arrival of the ECW Champion, Christian.

Tommy Dreamer vs. Christian

The two start the match with a set of amateur wrestling style grapples with Dreamer getting control with a drop toe hold. He then follows it up with a modified STF before delivering a body slam.

Christian dodges an elbow drop, but is unable to avoid a bulldog. After Christian misses a dive out of the ring, Dreamer recovers and hits a cannonball on a proned and injured ECW Champion.

Back on the show, Dreamer hits a back suplex followed by refocusing on the injured knee of Captain Charisma. Both men go back and forth before Dreamer delivers a dropkick to the same knee followed by a pump handle slam.

Dreamer counters a dive from the top rope and locks in a modified Sharpshooter. After Christian reaches the ropes, he slaps the taste out of Dreamer’s mouth before using the ropes for leverage.

As the Champion comes back into the ring, he almost gets beheaded with a huge clothesline. Both men start to stagger to their feet as the ref begins the 10-count. Dreamer gets the advantage with a back body drop followed by a reverse DDT, but only gets a two-count.

As Dreamer goes for the Dreamer-T, Christian counters it into The Impaler, but he only gets a two-count as well.

Christian preps for the Killswitch, but Dreamer tries to lock in the Tree of Woe, but counters a Sunset Flip into a pinning predicament of his own. Both men are battling on the top rope with Dreamer getting control with a massive superplex.

Dreamer crawls to the cover, but is only able to get a two-count. Dreamer counters the Killswitch again into a Reverse Gutwrench Powerbomb, but is only able to get a two-count.

Christian starts to build momentum as he climbs the top rope. Christian misses the Frog Splash, and as both men stagger to their feet, Jack Swagger comes to the ring to provide interference. Both men take out Swagger as the ref rings the bell and renders the disqualification.

Following the conflict involving Swagger, Dreamer tells Christian that he’s not done with him yet and wants another shot at the title. Christian agrees as the two shake hands and continue to debate after the match.

In the back, Chris Jericho continues his “I’m the best in the world” BS speech. He goes on to insult CM Punk and the fact that he has the Money In The Bank Briefcase. He concludes his greatness speech by saying that Punk will have his brush with greatness.

 

Kofi Kingston vs. William Regal

Regal gets early control with a shoulder block followed by a tight headlock. But Kingston fires back with a diving elbow. Kingston uses an impressive move to get out of an armlock but gets pummeled in the corner for his troubles.

Regal applies yet another headlock. Kofi continues to fight back, but Regal keeps the pressure on, until Kingston launches him through the air.

Kofi takes the fight straight to Regal before delivering a standing dropkick followed by the clothesline. He nails the Boom 3 Double Leg Drop before heading to the corner. Regal is staggered then dropped with a Euro Uppercut. But Regal bounces back with a T-Bone Throw.

As Regal goes for the Blackout, Kingston turns it into Trouble In Paradise for Regal to pick up the upset win over the Englishman.

In the back, CM Punk is heading to the ring for his main event match with Chris Jericho.

Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk

Punk gets the upper hand with a hard elbow followed by a clothesline to Jericho. Punk drives Jericho in the corner, who hasn’t shown an ounce of offense in the entire match. But thanks to a cheap shot, Jericho finally gets control of the match with a series of boots to the head.

Following a modified Tarantula, Punk nails the Springboard clothesline. As he goes for the GTS, Jericho fires out of it and kicks him in the thigh.

Back on the show, Jericho continues the pressure, but takes a good while to insult Punk. He then locks in a abdominal stretch. Jericho continues the pressure on the ribs of Punk, but Punk manages to dodge another corner spear. He staggers up and nails a series of shots to the body of Jericho.

After hitting the corner knee lift and bulldog. Punk hits the cross body, but Jericho hits the enzugiri to slow the momentum. Punk bounces back with a kick to the skull. As Punk goes for the GTS, Jericho wiggles his way out of it and nails the Bulldog.

A smirking Jericho goes for the Lionsault, only to get caught by Punk. Punk goes for the GTS, but Jericho goes for the Walls only to have it countered into a small package to pick up yet another loss.

After the bell, however, Jericho hits the Codebreaker on an unsuspecting Punk and smirks about it as he leaves the ring and Superstars goes off the air.
