If I had the chance to interview any football player on the Packers roster, it would have to be A.J. Hawk.

As soon as the team drafted the outside linebacker from Ohio State, I hurried to buy one of his jerseys. I figured he would be a career player for the Packers, so what better threads to cop than those of the next Ray Nitschke?

It turns out that he hasn't produced like Ray just yet, but it's still early in his career. Besides, I would want him to play like himself and not try to be someone else.

Now, with no further ado, here are my questions:

  1. What was your favorite opponent to play against in the Big Ten?
  2. Out of all the college games you played in, which one was the most memorable?
  3. When you were drafted by the Packers, what was the first thought that came to you about the team?
  4. Do you think the transition to the 3-4 defense will help the Packers this year?
  5. What is Kevin Greene like in practice?
  6. If you had the last vote on an extended season, which way would you cast it: for it, or against it?
  7. How much of last season's 6-10 record was the defense's fault?
  8. What is the music, that the players listen to in the locker room before a game?
  9. Do you like the thought of capping the salaries for rookies? Why or why not?
  10. Why did you choose No. 50 for your jersey?
  11. Were you excited when Ted Thompson traded up to draft Clay Matthews? What was your reaction?
  12. What was the coldest game you played in so far at Lambeau Field?
  13. What is it like being married to the sister of Brady Quinn?
  14. If you could change anything about the NFL, what would it be?
  15. Could you ever imagine yourself playing for a different franchise, in the present or future?

So there they are, feel free to comment about the questions or what you think his answers might be.
