Donte Stallworth: Where Is The Justice?
News broke this morning of Donte Stallworth only being charged with second-degree DUI after his accident that ended in the death of a man.
Stallworth's plan is to avoid manslaughter charges by partly blaming his victim in the accident. Stallworth and his team seem to be claiming that the man who was killed was in fact partly at fault because he was jaywalking and was not crossing the street at a cross walk. Stallworth also claimed he flashed his lights at the man and that was enough warning for the man to get out of the way of his vehicle.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It has to be a bit insulting for the family of the victim for Stallworth and others to blame him for the accident. The bottom line is he was hit by an intoxicated Stallworth. If Stallworth had the time to flash his lights, then wouldn't it be safe to say he could have stopped and kept the man alive?
NFL fans should be outraged by things of this magnitude that get brushed aside in order for the athlete to continue playing football, as if the incident never happened.
I know everyone is tired of Michael Vick, but he fought animals, not humans, and fans act like a human is all of a sudden less important than an animal in the large scheme of things. It is just not the case.
The fact that Vick was punished and Stallworth gets to negotiate when he goes to county jail is a huge injustice.
However, Vick deserved what he got in the federal prison in Kansas and I obviously do not condone his actions, but people need to get it together and be more upset about athletes getting off for much larger crimes as far as the judicial system is concerned.
