Every Tuesday night, I find myself tuning into the Sci-Fi network to continue what has become a ritual of watching ECW.

I have often been told that I am wasting my time or that ECW stands for Extremely Crappy Wrestling. I couldn't disagree more. ECW is a very good product considering what you are dealing with.

Granted this product is not the same ECW as what we have grown accustomed to in the Paul Heyman days. In it's "Hey"day pun intended you would see some the most innovative moves and risky story lines that were truly new for its time. We must leave this persona in the past.

The only thing that you can read into this name is that Vince is flexing his muscle in saying that he can use the name and no one can do anything about it.

But lets examine this a little further. ECW is wrestling and not that bad for what it is. If you changed the name and made it anything I mean anything Tuesday Night Wrestling or just wrestling. You can call it anything you like but the point is watch it for what it is.

My main point here is simply one thing, ECW has been given a bad rap simply because of the name but it is pretty good wrestling.

At times, it is better wrestling than Raw or Smackdown. The story lines aren't as good because there is only an hour each week to work with and that makes it difficult to develop a lot of story lines.

The solution in my opinion would be to change a couple things. One would be to somehow negotiate a two hour time slot and begin to develop story lines and allow more guys to shine which seems to be the soul purpose of ECW.

Next would be to introduce another title say the television title to further push younger talent and really who doesn't like a good title match no matter what the title.

This usually gets fans more involved when they see their favorite chasing a coveted title.

Finally as eluded to earlier I would simply change the name and remove the undeserving black eye from what is GOOD Wrestling.
