Throwback Thursday: Dave Parker Smokes a Cigarette in the Pirates Dugout

Dave Parker was once the richest athlete in the world after signing the first professional contract that paid an average of $1 million per year for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

It was a different time when "The Cobra" was at the peak of his stardom, as seen in this photo from 1980 of him smoking a cigarette in the Pirates' dugout.
