MLB Playoff Schedule 2013: When and Where to Watch Entire Postseason
The MLB playoffs have arrived.
The crazy month got off to a hot start in the Wild Card Round when the Pittsburgh Pirates took down the Cincinnati Reds in front of their home crowd behind a strong showing from Francisco Liriano.
On the opposite side of things, the Tampa Bay Rays shut out the Cleveland Indians in a strong showing of pitching prowess from the staff as Tampa Bay won its third do-or-die contest in four days.

With that, the stage is set. Here is a breakdown of the action that is to come, followed by an entire table detailing when and where to catch the duration of the greatest sporting month of them all.

ALDS
The ALDS is an intriguing slate of action to say the least. The Detroit Tigers are looking for redemption after being swept out of the World Series last year with relative ease. To begin the journey, Detroit is tasked with taking on an underrated Oakland A's club.
Both teams are World Series-ready thanks to an elite pitching staff led by Max Scherzer, Justin Verlander and Anibal Sanchez for Detroit and Bartolo Colon and Sonny Gray for Oakland.
As good as Oakland is, Detroit's triple-headed monster pitching rotation is going to cause some serious issues for Oakland all series long.
The other showdown occurs between two familiar AL East foes when Boston and Tampa Bay do the dance. Tampa Bay won the season series and is riding a wave of momentum as mentioned, but the Red Sox have the most explosive offense in baseball.
Boston is back in a big way after losing 93 games last year and scored the most runs of any team this season. Led by David Ortiz and his .309 average with 30 home runs and 103 RBI, Boston will cruise past Tampa Bay.
Prediction: Detroit, Boston advance
NLDS
The 1992 season marked the last time the Pittsburgh Pirates made it to the postseason, but the drought is over and now A.J. Burnett and Co. have a date with the NL's best team, the St. Louis Cardinals.
The season split was almost even between these two clubs, so expect a tight series down to the wire. Both know each other well, but at the end of the day it will be the Cardinals' pitching behind the arm of Adam Wainwright who will silence the bats of Andrew McCutchen and Co. while ending their Cinderella run.
Conversely, the other matchup in the NLDS holds little in the way of surprises. The Atlanta Braves boast an outstanding lineup of hitters consisting of Justin Upton, Freddie Freeman, Evan Gattis and Brian McCann (20 or more home runs each).
Interestingly enough, the Los Angeles Dodgers tout baseball's best pitcher in Clayton Kershaw, who won 16 games with his 1.83 ERA.
Both teams have the propensity to get hot at any time, but look for the Braves to pull off the upset courtesy of a respectable pitching staff and an explosive lineup.
Prediction: St. Louis, Atlanta advance
