NFL Injury Report Week 5: Team-by-Team Updates, Inactive List and More

Week 5 of the 2013 NFL season officially kicks off with Thursday Night Football, and the focus has shifted to the injury reports and which top stars will be listed on the inactive list this week.

The injuries to huge names are starting to add up around the league. Whether you’re a diehard fan of your favorite team or an avid fantasy football player looking to make that last-second move, we have all the updates every NFL fan needs.

Below we'll check up on the status of some notable banged-up players and get you set for Week 5 with a complete list of inactives.

C.J. Spiller, RB, Buffalo Bills

Status: Active

The Buffalo Bills listed running back C.J. Spiller as questionable for Thursday night's game against the Cleveland Browns with an ankle injury after being limited in practice this week, according to Joe Buscaglia of WGR550. Although his status was initially up in the air, the Bills confirmed that Spiller will be in the lineup when announcing their inactives for Thursday night.

Rob Gronkowski, TE, New England Patriots

Status: Inactive

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is out for Sunday’s game once again as he continues to recover from forearm and back surgeries he underwent this offseason, according to Mike Reiss and Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Terrelle Pryor, QB, Oakland Raiders

Status: Active

Pryor was listed as probable, but the Oakland Raiders wasted no time listing quarterback Terrelle Pryor as the team’s starter after he was cleared from all symptoms of the concussion that kept him out in Week 4, according to Jerry McDonald of the Oakland Tribune.

Danny Amendola, WR, New England Patriots

Status: Active

After practicing all week and making the trip with the New England Patriots to Cincinnati, wide receiver Danny Amendola (groin) will be active for Sunday’s game, according to the team’s official inactive list.

Eddie Lacy, RB, Green Bay Packers

Status: Active

The Green Bay Packers top running back Eddie Lacy missed Week 3 with a concussion, but is listed as active on the team’s official inactive list.
