College basketball recruiting for 2014 classes has hit crunch time. Prospects all over the country are declaring where they will play next season. Indiana is in the thick of it all, trying to lock down another superb freshmen class.

In the last two weeks, a lot has happened with Indiana's targets, including a verbal commitment to the program.

Let's take a look at where the Hoosiers stand with their top prospects.

Robert Johnson

The Hoosiers received good news when Virginia guard Robert Johnson committed to the program. He was also considering North Carolina, Virginia and Florida State.

After the decommitment of guard James Blackmon Jr., this is a huge pickup for head coach Tom Crean. Johnson isn't as prolific of a scorer as Blackmon Jr., but he's certainly no slouch.

Johnson is a 4-star recruit and is ranked No. 44 in ESPN's 150. He can play both point and shooting guard.

This is crucial considering current starting point guard Yogi Ferrell may bolt for the NBA after this season.

Indiana's 2014 class definitely got off to a good start with the addition of Johnson.

Lourawls Nairn

Lourawls Nairn, a speedy point guard from Bel Aire, Kan., had four schools on his final list. Between Indiana, Michigan State, Oklahoma and Minnesota, he decided to become a Michigan State Spartan.

Indiana would have loved for him to commit because he is a true point guard, something it needs on the roster. The Hoosiers may have missed on Nairn, but it's not the end of the world because of Robert Johnson's commitment to the program.

Isaiah Whitehead

Indiana started seriously going after Isaiah Whitehead after James Blackmon Jr. decommited. The 5-star recruit is ranked No. 20 in ESPN's 100, and would be a huge help to any program.

Besides Indiana, his final list included Seton Hall, St. John's, Minnesota and Pittsburgh. Unfortunately for IU, Whitehead decided to attend Seton Hall.

Whitehead would have been a monumental pickup for the Hoosiers. His commitment would have made Tom Crean and Hoosier faithful everywhere quickly forget about Blackmon Jr.'s decommitment.

James Blackmon Jr.

Even though James Blackmon Jr. decommitted from Indiana, Tom Crean has not slowed down in his recruitment of the 5-star prospect.

Blackmon Jr. is still considering IU, but it's going to be an uphill battle for Crean to get him to recommit. He is deciding between powerhouse programs including Michigan State, Kansas, Kentucky and Michigan.

Blackmon Jr. is going to Kentucky on October 18 for his official visit and then will head to IU for his official there.

It would certainly be a shock if Blackmon Jr. recommits to Indiana.

Goodluck Okonoboh

Goodluck Okonoboh would be the prize of the recruiting class if the Hoosiers land him. The big man is a shot-blocking machine and would shore up Indiana's interior defense for years to come.

Okonoboh took his official visit to Indiana in early September. Since, Tom Crean has still been heavily pursuing him. Crean met with Okonoboh on September 26, according to's Justin Albers.

The other schools he is considering are UNLV and Ohio State. Okonoboh officially visited both.

The high-profile prospect will announce his decision Thursday. Based on how Indiana's recruiting has gone so far, landing Okonoboh is a must.

Devin Robinson

Devin Robinson, the 6'8", 4-star small forward from Chesterfield, Va., has Indiana on his final list along with Connecticut, Florida, Notre Dame and Oklahoma State.

He's already taken official visits to Oklahoma State and Notre Dame.

For his official to IU, he will attend Friday's Hoosier Hysteria. This is a great sign for Tom Crean. Hoosier Hysteria is the perfect environment to use to convince Robinson to sign with Indiana.

Also going in IU's favor is Robinson's relationship with current Hoosier commit Robert Johnson. The two are very close, and you can bet Johnson will recruit Robinson to join him in Bloomington.

Ahmed Hill

Ahmed Hill dropped Indiana from his list in mid-September. He was supposed to attend Friday's Hoosier Hysteria.

He is still considering Florida, Florida State, Marquette and Missouri.
