Kate Upton Hits Sports Illustrated's October Cover with Braves' Upton Brothers

Kate Upton's latest brush with the sports world sees the 21-year-old hit the cover of Sports Illustrated with her namesakes, the Atlanta Braves' B.J. and Justin Upton. The brothers were united this year after being acquired via free agency and a trade, respectively.

They probably never thought they'd have another Upton on their shoulders for the October issue, but the pairing worked out quite well, according to SI:

The photo shoot took place last month at Citi Field when the Braves were in town to play the Mets. It marks the first time a swimsuit model has appeared on SI’s weekly cover. The three Uptons got along famously, joking throughout the shoot that they were being long-lost cousins.

The cover is part of a special playoff preview edition of the magazine, with the Braves' postseason starting against the L.A. Dodgers on Thursday.
