HBO's 24/7 Returns June 27th with Mayweather Versus Marquez

HBO's Emmy Award winning 24/7 is back on June 27, 2009 featuring the return of the pound for pound undefeated king of the ring, Floyd "Money May" Mayweather Jr. and the top pound for pound ranked Mexican fighter, Juan Manuel Marquez.

HBO will debut their first episode—Mayweather/Marquez—on Saturday, June 27th, 2009 at 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM EST/PDT.

HBO will air the second episode Saturday, July 4, 2009 at 9:45 PM to 10:15 PM EST.

HBO will air the third episode Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 10:00 PM to 10:30 PM EST.

HBO will air the final episode on the eve of the super mega fight Friday, July 17th

9:30 PM to 10:00 PM EST.

All four episodes will have multiple replay dates on HBO, and the series will also be available on HBO On Demand.

The super mega fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Juan Manuel Marquez will be on Saturday, July 18th at 9:00 PM (EST)/6:00 PM (PDT), HBO Pay-Per-View live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

It would be interesting to see which Mayweather shows up in these HBO 24/7 episodes. Many noticed a more mature, humble Floyd in the recent Los Angeles press media conference that took place just two days ago. Will this humble, mature Floyd be the new personality of the super star fighter? Or will the flashy, arrogant "Money May" come out to play in this new HBO 24/7 installment of episodes?

Either way, this is great for the sport of boxing. It is a great deal of exposure and mass publicity to the general public for the year's second super mega fight of 2009.
