The Champions League T20 group stages continue on Saturday with two games in Group B. First, the Titans face Sunrisers Hyderabad, with the Indians above their South African counterparts by virtue of net run rate alone.

In the second game, the Chennai Super Kings will look to maintain their 100-percent record as they face the Brisbane Heat, who are yet to win a game in the competition this year.

Here are the key details for each game.

Form

Titans

So far, the Titans have won one and lost one in their first two games, losing by four wickets to the Chennai Super Kings but beating the Brisbane Heat by four runs. The South Africans sit fourth in Group B with four points.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Hyderabad also have one win and one loss, defeating Trinidad and Tobago by four wickets but losing by 12 runs to the Chennai Super Kings. The IPL side, who entered the competition through the qualifying stage, are currently third in Group B.

Key Men

Titans

AB de Villiers has been in scintillating form already during this year’s Champions League T20 and will need to maintain his hot start if his side are to win this match. A crucial player at the top of the order, the South African struck 77 from 36 balls against the Chennai Super Kings, then 28 from 19 against the Brisbane Heat.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Dale Steyn will be desperate to help his IPL side take victory over his countrymen. The fast bowler will play a crucial role with the new ball. If he is on form, Hyderabad will be likely to restrict their opponents to a low score.

Other Information

Weather: Yahoo! Weather says there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms with light winds. All four teams will be hoping that those showers remain scattered and that the Duckworth-Lewis method is not brought into play.

Pitch: The pitches have remained flat and batsman-friendly at Ranchi so far this year in the Champions League T20. Teams have won games at the JSCA International Stadium Complex batting both first and second, although the threatened bad weather may have a role to play.

Key Men

Brisbane Heat

Hard-hitting Daniel Christian is a crucial player for the Heat and will need to be on top form to help his team overcome their in-form opponents. In their last game, Christian took 2-16 in three overs and hit 21 with the bat. He will need more of the same in this game.

Chennai Super Kings

With 131 runs already in the tournament this year, Suresh Raina has been a crucial part of Chennai’s top order as they have won both their games. The Indian has been crucial at No. 3, helping the Super Kings get an ideal start with the bat.
