FIFA 14 Ultimate Team of the Week: Tactics for Aguero, Alaba, Isco and More
If you're lucky enough to possess a copy of FIFA 14 and an Internet connection, it's extremely likely you've fired up this year's Ultimate Team mode.
With the game now fully launched in North America and arriving imminently in Europe, the online marketplace is beginning to swell.
As usual, EA Canada's Team of the Week selections add improved player cards into packs for a limited time. Each TOTW squad is made up of individuals who have performed excellently across the previous week of real-world action and offers users the chance to better their team at a higher cost.

Tactics and Analysis
Not a bad Team of the Week to start the year's play, right?
Even with this terrifying squad of quality, many gamers will struggle to afford such luxuries at this stage of the season. For those of you who are fortunate to pull any of the top players straight from the pack, let's take a look at the best team options to maximise their potential.
Sergio Aguero and Diego Milito
Undoubtedly the standout card this week is Sergio Aguero. After a mesmerising performance in the Manchester Derby, the lethal Argentinian already has a card to improve upon his pretty tasty normal version.
Aguero is best placed alongside a team that oozes physical dominance. In FIFA 14, his ability to make defence-splitting runs is highlighted when pitted next to a forward partner who can effectively hold the ball up.
Now, his real-life colleagues such as Edin Dzeko and Alvaro Negredo are useful here. For those looking to try something a little different, another TOTW striker makes perfect sense and shouldn't set you back too many coins. Diego Milito not only partners Aguero with excellent chemistry, but he opens up the possibility of team-building beyond the Premier League.
Here's an interesting hybrid to consider:
Although three positional changes have been made, this starting XI features 100-percent chemistry and mixes three leagues seamlessly. A combination of power at the back and pace up top makes this useful for those who look to counterattack.

Isco, Koke, Pedro and Alaba
Fancy a team of Spanish stars to start your Ultimate Team career? This week's Team of the Week has been kind to you.
The trio of La Liga stars featured speak for themselves when building a team. Any Spanish links will ensure 100-percent chemistry across the squad, but there’s room to be far more creative here. Why not take time to build a La Liga/Premier League/Bundesliga hybrid that also manages to fit David Alaba's improved variation in?
Here's how it might look:
This team is built for those who like to control matches with possession-based football. Classy midfielders such as Isco and Santi Cazorla are able to feed the ball towards Michu, who can power his way through the opposition's defence or wait for Koke and Pedro to make an appearance down the flanks.
It's best to play Javi Martinez in a defensive midfield role here, limiting his opportunities to get forward. In doing so, you'll always have a powerful presence sat in front of a defence that naturally bombs up the field. Such protection allows Alaba to shine, whether he's attacking or racing towards his own goal.
