WWE RAW Rewind: Batista, Cena, Flair Scream Freedom!
RAW opens up with the arrival of Randy Orton, still the WWE Champion. In the process, Cole and Lawler are giving the highlights of last night’s controversial Judgment Day. Orton gloats about the fact that he is still the WWE Champion, much to the chagrin of the Freedom Hall Fans of Louisville, Kentucky.
He then focuses his attention on another former Evolution member, Ric Flair. Orton makes it clear that Flair has only delayed the inevitable. He dares and threatens Flair, who has no problem coming out stylin’ and profilin’ on his way to the ring.
Flair comes into the ring and makes it clear that Orton did not beat Batista last night. He lets him know that he was supposed to be the man. But Batista blew past him instead. Orton lets him know that he can beat Batista anyplace, anytime, anywhere.
Flair announces that Batista will face Orton inside a steel cage at One Night Stand. With that, Orton drops Flair, Legacy comes down, Batista joins the party and so does…John Cena. Cena helps Batista clear the ring as Legacy looks on.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Following a quick recap, John Cena is heading out of the ring. He explains that he overcame physics and gravity as well as critics when he defeated the Big Show at Judgment Day.
He also announces that he will compete for the WWE Championship real soon. Vickie comes out and announces that Legacy will face Batista and John Cena in the main event.
Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix vs. Rosa Mendes vs. Jillian Hall vs. Mickie James vs. Bella Twins
Divas No. 1 Contender Battle Royal
One of the Bella Twins gets eliminated as the match kicks into high gear. Jillian performs her Idol Splash before getting tossed out by Mickie James. Phoenix recovers and slams Mickie’s head against the mat.
But Kelly bounces back and eliminates Beth Phoenix. Phoenix tries to take her out as Maryse sprays Mickie in the face. Kelly shoves her out of the ring and wins the match. Kelly Kelly will now get a future shot at Maryse for the Divas Championship.
Santino vs. Chavo
Chavo gets early advantage with a European Uppercut. Santino then acts like he has a cramp, struts around the ring and gets dropped for his troubles. Chavo continues the punishment by applying a submission, but Santino starts fighting his way out of it only to get dropped with a Mat Slam.
Chavo slaps Santino constantly until Marella snaps and drops him with a fist, an elbow and a clothesline. But Chavo goes up for a Frog Splash only to clock himself and get caught with a small package.
Santino shocks the world and gets the victory. After the bell, Chavo tells Santino that Santina will defend her Miss WrestleMania crown against Chavo’s aunt, Vickie!
In the back, Maryse is getting dissed by The Miz, he begins to talk more smack about John Cena…again. Also, Matt Hardy is making it clear that he wasn’t going to allow Jeff Hardy to become champion at his expense.
In Vickie’s office, the GM is chewing out Chavo when Randy Orton storms in demanding answers from Vickie. He also informs her that if she was him, she better stay on his good side.
The Colons vs. The Brian Kendrick & Goldust
Goldust and Carlito start the match with The Bizarre One getting the advantage early. But Kendrick tags in to teach Goldust a thing or two. Kendrick shows his aggressive side in the corner and continues to bark orders at Goldust.
But Primo manages to get the tag and comes in like a house of fire. Following a Russian Leg Sweep, Primo gets caught with a jawbreaker. After dodging the Kendrick, Primo nails the Springboard Cross Body to pick up the win for the WWE Unified Tag Team Champions.
After the bell, Kendrick continues to berate his partner for the night. After getting slapped, Goldust comes in and gets some much needed assistance from Hornswoggle.
In the back, The Miz starts his weekly insult to John Cena by wearing Cena’s trademark ring attire as he heads to the ring.
Following the break, The Miz comes out in Cena’s old music and new attire. He comes out bragging how he is still undefeated against John Cena. He decides to give his own freestyle remix of Cena’s original entrance music. After the freestyle, he once again calls out The CG Commander.
After proclaiming a fifth victory over Cena, The Fiz is called out by Jerry Lawler. Lawler proves a point and calls out Hulk Hogan, Batista, Bruno Sammartino and Stone Cold Steve Austin. He then tells him that he’s talking outside of his rear end. As The Miz prepares to leave the ring, Big Show makes his appearance.
Big Show makes it clear that he is not done with John Cena. At Extreme Rules, Big Show will face Cena in a Submission Match. After using King as a shield, Miz runs out of the ring. In retaliation, Big Show drops Lawler with a Camel Clutch before focusing his attention back on The Fiz.
Matt Hardy vs. MVP
United States Championship
Matt tries to get an advantage with the cast. Hardy strikes MVP with the cast to the left knee. Hardy decides to take advantage of the cheap shot with constant shots to the leg. In the corner, Hardy uses his “good” arm to drop the US Champion, but MVP bounces back with a diving clothesline.
Both men stagger to their feet with MVP getting control with a few shots and a sidewalk slam. After delivering the BALLIN’ Elbow Drop. But Hardy shoves him to the outside only to get his injured decimated.
Back in the ring, MVP continues the pressure on the arm before laying him out with the Drive By and Playmaker to get the win and retain the United States Championship.
Back on RAW, Ric Flair announces that he will call out Randy Orton next week on RAW in Denver! And despite Batista’s protest, Flair is hellbent on calling out Orton next week. In the back, Vickie is getting called out by Santina with a pig call no less. Vickie decides that the match is ON!
Santina vs. RAW General Manager Vickie Guerrero
Miss WrestleMania Crown
Before the match, Santina insults Vickie before planting a kiss on the GM’s lips. After the final insult, Chavo decides to make the match a No DQ Match. With that, Chavo decides to beat on Santina.
The two exchange shots as Vickie looks on. As Chavo takes an early exit, William Regal comes in and drops Santina. Vickie gets the victory and the Miss WrestleMania Crown.
In the back, Legacy is heading to the ring for the Main Event of the night.
Legacy vs. Batista and John Cena
Main Event (Three on Two Handicap Match)
Orton plays Dodgeball with Batista as DiBiase comes in and gets leveled with a clothesline. After taking out both men, Cena and Batista turn around to face an awaiting Orton, who decides not to go for the RKO. Orton slithers out of the ring as RAW goes to break.
Back on RAW, DiBiase is providing the pressure on The Animal. Rhodes comes in and starts stomping on a slumped Batista. Following a huge head collision, both men are down on the mat. DiBiase tags in Rhodes, but Cena comes in and hits the Beantown Bomb followed by the Five-Knuckle Shuffle.
Cena delivers the Attitude Adjustment, but Orton comes in off the tag and starts pummeling Cena. DiBiase delivers a cheap shot while the ref is distracted by Orton. DiBiase comes into the ring and levels Cena with a clothesline.
Following the Million Dollar Fist Drop, DiBiase tags in Rhodes, who applies a reverse chin lock. Rhodes delivers a moonsault but only gets a two count. Orton comes in and continues the punishment on Cena. Orton applies a sleeper hold on the Chain Gang Commander.
Cena manages to power his way to a tag with The Animal. Batista comes in and drops Orton with a Powerslam. Cena goes after The Big Show, while Batista takes out Legacy. Ric Flair sprints down and takes down Rhodes as Batista delivers a Spear to get the win for Cena and The Animal. Flair continues to call Orton to the ring.
Both friends celebrate in the ring as Legacy looks on and RAW goes off the air.
