CLT20: Rajasthan Royals vs. Mumbai Indians Scorecard, Recap and More
An all-Indian showdown in the opening match of the Champions League T20 main tournament saw a narrow victory for the Rajasthan Royals, who got past Mumbai Indians with seven wickets but just two balls to spare.
Asked to bat first in Jaipur, the Mumbai Indians made 142 for seven wickets in their 20 overs, with Rohit Sharma (44) and Kieron Pollard (42) propping up an otherwise meager-looking scorecard.
Sachin Tendulkar, playing his first match in any format since May, managed just 15 opening the batting, and was part of a desperately slow start, which left the Indians at 43-4 after 8.1 overs.

Vikramjeet Malik set the tone, the Royals opening bowler picking up three wickets for just 24 runs.
When it came to the chase, the Royals kept on par with the required run rate, but it was the fact that they had wickets in hand which gave them the confidence to get over the line.
Sanju Samson set the tone with a measured 54 from 47 balls, but there were also contributions from Ajinkya Rahane (33), Shane Watson and Stuart Binny (both 27 not out).
Here's the scorecard as given by the official CLT20 website:
