Form
Brisbane Heat
The winners of Australia's Big Bash League won four of their last five T20 games in the Australian domestic competition. It's only their second season in existence and the first time they are taking part in the T20 Champions League.
Trinidad and Tobago
Trinidad and Tobago were finalists in the 2009 edition of the Champions League and went unbeaten through the Caribbean's T20 competition at the start of the year. The competition was revamped this year, though, and they won just three of their matches and crashed out in the semi-final. Luckily for them, they had already qualified for the main draw of the competition earlier in the year.
Key Men
Brisbane Heat
Brisbane have got it bad in terms of missing players. They have to make do without Daniel Vettori, the Australian quartet of Shane Watson, Mitchell Johnson, Ryan Harris and Luke Pomersbach—their highest run-scorer in the Big Bash—and all-rounder Thisara Perera. Brisbane will have to rely on import Kemar Roach with the ball to be destructive up front.
Trinidad and Tobago
The men from the Caribbean are without Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo and Kevon Cooper, who have all opted to play for their IPL side, the Mumbai Indians. They do have off-spinning sensation Sunil Narine, though. While the conditions won't be entirely in his favour just yet, he will be key in keeping the pressure on. Narine was the second-highest wicket-taker n the 2012 edition of the IPL, picking up 24 scalps and bagging man of the tournament.
Other Information
Weather: According to AccuWeather, there's a chance of a few thunderstorms in Ranchi on Sunday. They should not be significant enough to force proceedings to be abandoned, though.
Pitch: The Ranchi pitch is yet to be tested, so it should be very batting-friendly. All the tracks have held up well, though, and it should be more of the same on Sunday.

Form
Chennai
Chennai are fast becoming the Manchester United of the cricket world, in terms of the IPL anyway. They've won two, finished as runners-up in three and made the semi-finals the other time. Their run in the T20 Champions League has not been so great, though. They've never made it past the group stage.
Titans
The Titans are a fierce force in the South African domestic set-up, as they finished runners-up in the 2012-13 domestic competition after winning it the season before. They were also champions in the format in 2004-05 and 2007-08. They participated in the 2012 CLT20 and made it to the semi-finals where they were beaten by the Sydney Sixers.
Key Men
Chennai
MS Dhoni's big-hitting prowess and his captaincy will be key for the Kings. With a star-studded side of homegrown talent, the Super Kings hold the advantage over the Titans, as long as they can hold their nerve.
Titans
AB de Villiers will be the star player for the Titans. Fresh off a stint in Sri Lanka, de Villiers will adapt to the subcontinental conditions relatively quickly.
