Christian Benteke Injury: Updates on Aston Villa Striker's Hip and Recovery

Aston Villa were unable to avoid the injury bug on Saturday as star striker Christian Benteke left the match against Norwich City with an apparent ailment, according to the Premier League's official Twitter account:

SUB Christian Benteke goes down after 24 minutes and, despite trying to continue, the Belgian is replaced by Libor Kozak on 28 mins #NORAVL

— Premier League (@premierleague) September 21, 2013

Paul Lambert originally announced a timetable of 4-to-6 weeks for his recovery. Benteke was available as a substitute on Oct. 20.
