NASCAR Chase Standings 2013: Updated Order Following GEICO 400
Matt Kenseth is on fire.
The Wisconsin native continued his hot streak on Sunday night, winning the GEICO 400 at Chicagoland Speedway after a five-hour rain delay.
It was a solid performance from Kenseth, who entered the Chase for the Cup as the No. 1 seed. With the win, Kenseth earned his career-high sixth victory on the season.
Kenseth's Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Kyle Busch also had a strong night, overcoming the weather and his own engine to finish in second place. Fellow Chase contenders Kevin Harvick (third), Kurt Busch (fourth), Jimmie Jimmie Johnson (fifth), Jeff Gordon (sixth), Clint Bowyer (ninth) and Ryan Newman (10th) also finished in the top 10.
On the other end of the spectrum is Joey Logano and Dale Earnhardt Jr., both of whom were unable to finish after engine failures. Logano, who started the race in pole position, finished in 37th place, while Gordon finished 35.
Here are the complete updated Chase standings following Sunday's race.

Next week, the Chase moves to the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire. The race is scheduled to start Sunday at 2 p.m. Eastern Time.
Given his recent success, Kenseth should be considered the favorite as the Chase for the Cup progresses. However, as Logano and Earnhardt proved today, no one is safe in the wild world of NASCAR.
Be sure to tune in next week to see if Kenseth can continue his recent run of domination.
