Preview

Garcia may not be the most gifted fighter in the world, but he certainly has the talent to compete with anyone.

The 25-year-old is 26-0 in his career and has recorded 16 knockouts. His career started with him knocking most of his opponents out. However, he has not been as successful of late. Only two of his last six matches have ended via the knockout.

Swift has been winning by doing the little things right. That allows him to make strong attacks, and his toughness keeps him on his feet.

Garcia has been able to fight through injuries. In a match against Zab Judah back in April, the two fighters banged heads, which cut Garcia and resulted in blood. It didn't matter to the tough fighter as he came through with a 12-round victory.

He has the ability to knock his opponent around in the middle rounds and then grind out a victory until the fight ends.

In the other corner, Matthysse is an absolute force in the ring. He has a career knockout percentage of 86.49, via BoxRec.com. That's an incredible mark, and he goes into fights looking to end it early.

Matthysse is 34-2 in his career, so he has shown some vulnerability at times. He lost two fights via split decisions in a three-match span back in 2010 and into 2011. Since that time, he has rolled off six straight victories.

The 30-year-old is on some kind of run right now. He has three straight knockouts, and his strength gives him a big advantage in this fight.

Matthysse is looking to take Garcia's titles, so he has a lot of motivation entering this bout.

Although Garcia has yet to be defeated, Matthysse has what it takes to hand him a loss. He is extremely powerful and can knock Garcia out.

Swift isn't incredibly quick and relies on strong fundamentals. That strategy works against most fighters, but Matthysse is too strong. The Machine will wear Garcia down and eventually get the knockout. In the end, Garcia will suffer his first loss, and Matthysse will be the top boxer in his division.

Make sure to tune into this bout and be prepared for a slugfest.
