NFL Picks for Week 2: Computer Likes Broncos, 49ers
The best that can be said so far about the Odds Shark NFL predictions computer is that it's perfect on Thursdays.
After picking the Jets to cover last night's huge spread in New England in a low-scoring game, the machine is 2-0 on spreads and totals on Thursdays. The rest of the week wasn't so good in Week 1 it hopes to make amends this weekend.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In Week 2, it predicts Peyton will beat Eli in the Manning Bowl as a road favorite and it likes the San Francisco 49ers to win in Seattle in an early preview of a possible NFC title game.
Here's a sampling of what the Odds Shark computer has cooked up for this week.
Atlanta heads home after losing its opener at New Orleans, while St. Louis is on the road for the first time after rallying to beat Arizona. The Falcons swept the season series from the Rams last year, but both games were close.
The Odds Shark computer foresees another close game for Sunday, a 27-23 Atlanta victory but a St. Louis cover as the spread was sitting at -7.
Kansas City comes home after winning its debut under Andy Reid at Jacksonville, while Dallas is on the road after beating the rival Giants. The odds makers seem to have some faith in the Chiefs, who, after all, went 2-14 last year.
Also, before last week, KC had lost outright the last six times it was favored. The computer predicts a 30-29 Chiefs win Sunday, but a Cowboys cover.
Broncos -6/55 at Giants (4:25 pm ET, CBS)
The Manning brothers hook up for the third time in their pro careers. Peyton tied the record for touchdown passes in a game last week vs. the defending Super Bowl champions, while Eli and his outfit turned the ball over six times in losing at Dallas.
Peyton and his Colts beat Eli and the Giants 26-21 back in 2006, and 38-14 in 2010. The computer predicts Peyton will move to 3-0 against Little Brother this Sunday, by a score of 38-31.
Seahawks -3/45 vs. 49ers (8:30 pm ET, NBC)
Showdown time comes quickly in the NFC West, with a game that will probably mean a lot when it comes to who-plays-where in January. The Seahawks are home after gutting out a tough win at Carolina last week, while the Niners are on the road after beating the Packers.
These teams split their two games last year, so Jim Harbaugh is 3-1 SU against Pete Carroll in the pros. The computer's math likes Harbaugh on Sunday, picking a 26-25 San Francisco victory.
