A Moment With Adrian Peterson

What do you ask a guy who has played just two years in the NFL, and is already a football icon?

Simply, you ask him the simple questions, the ones you know he can answer and won't get you in trouble.

I have always wondered what it would be like to sit down and talk with Adrian Peterson. Do I talk about his two years in the NFL?

His college and playing football for Oklahoma?

Or do I ask him about his raw strength and talent to plow over defenders and score on any play?

I'll take all of them!

• Now Adrian, your entering your third year in the NFL, did you ever imagine you would have such a big impact right away?

• What was your first reaction being drafted in the first round of the NFL draft by the Minnesota Vikings with the seventh pick?

• What was it like to be a rookie among all the veterans at training camp?

• Did anybody put pressure on you, such as family and friends going into your first year?

• What was it like to score your first touchdown? Was there a lot of relief after your first one?

• I'm sure you get this a lot, who was your favorite football player to watch growing up?

• When going into the next year what are your expectations for yourself and the team?

• What kind of goals are you setting for this year?

• There has been a lot of talk of you bulking up for this year. What have you done to prepare and what kind of exercises do you use for something like this?

• Have you and Coach Childress discussed your plan to add some extra muscle?

• Last question Adrian, What are your predictions for you and the Vikings in 2009?

NFC North title again? Playoffs? Super Bowl? Do feel this team is ready for the Super Bowl?
