Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal were down 2-1 against Northern Ireland Friday with just over 20 minutes to go. With Russia having comfortably won earlier in the day, Portugal could barely afford to drop two points, let alone three in Group F play.

Up stepped Cristiano in Belfast.

For his first trick he did this, to make it 2-2.

Then, he did this, to put the Portuguese ahead 3-2.

To finish off a rather fine night's work, Ronaldo completed his hat trick. Of course he did.

And they say he doesn't perform on the international stage.
