New NBA Free-Throw Rule Explained

Baylor Commit Making a Flipping Catch in Quadruple Coverage Is Worth Your Time

Gabe ZaldivarJun 8, 2018

K.D. Cannon has hands like mitts, acrobatic acumen like a gymnast and our new favorite name of any future football star.

Yahoo! Sports' Cameron Smith spotted this video of Mount Pleasant (Tx.) High School's star receiver catching a ball surrounded by four defenders.

If that weren't enough, he manages to go Cap Rooney by front-flipping to the ground while maintaining control of the ball.

Essentially, we already love this kid.

The catch brought Mount Pleasant within the 10-yard line on a drive in which it ended up scoring.

It was just that kind of night, because Mount Pleasant beat Paris High, 40-17, via Bob's BlitzThe only thing missing from this absurdly awesome catch might be a Rod Tidwell celebration, which is the only way you react when popping up from creating an acrobatic wonder.

Fans bumping around the district will get to see more highlights from Cannon this season. The rest of us will have to sit and wait for him to make his debut next season with Baylor or hope he can procure another jaw-dropping reception that goes viral.

The Baylor commit is ranked No. 2 among all wide receivers by Rivals and No. 5 among all receivers by ESPN 300

Forget the rankings, stats and hours of video from other athletes. We have seen enough to know Baylor is getting a star, assuming the ability to cut through quadruple coverage and steal a ball in the air while flipping end over end to the ground proves to be useful in the future.
