From Joe Bernstein of the Daily Mail:
"Everton have agreed a ยฃ15 million deal for Porto midfielder Fernando โ thus paving the way for Marouane Fellaini's departure to Manchester United.
Anxious United fans were wondering why there had been little news about Fellaini on Monday morning but the reason was Everton boss Roberto Martinez was waiting to complete a deal to bring Fernando to Goodison Park.
Brazilian Fernandoโnicknamed Polvo (The Octopus) because of his leggy styleโhad a year left on his contract in Portugal and it is believed for that reason Everton have been able to sign him for under the player's โฌ30 million buy-out clause.
