From Joe Bernstein of the Daily Mail:

"

Everton have agreed a £15 million deal for Porto midfielder Fernando – thus paving the way for Marouane Fellaini's departure to Manchester United.

Anxious United fans were wondering why there had been little news about Fellaini on Monday morning but the reason was Everton boss Roberto Martinez was waiting to complete a deal to bring Fernando to Goodison Park.

Brazilian Fernando—nicknamed Polvo (The Octopus) because of his leggy style—had a year left on his contract in Portugal and it is believed for that reason Everton have been able to sign him for under the player's €30 million buy-out clause.

From Paul Joyce of the Express:

"

Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini is set to submit a transfer request today in an attempt to force through a move to Manchester United.

United are now expected to make a renewed bid for the Belgium international having seen an offer of £23.5m rejected last week as part of a £36m joint bid for Fellaini and team-mate Leighton Baines

The transfer window slams shut at 11 p.m. BST on Monday, and Marouane Fellaini could be about to leave Everton.

It is widely reported that David Moyes wants to bring the Belgian midfielder to Manchester United.

A £23 million fee is being reported by the Daily Mail.

Previous offers of £28 million, rising to £30 million with add-ons, and £38 million for Fellaini and for Leighton Baines, were rejected out of hand by Everton, per Mark Ogden of The Telegraph.

BBC Sport reported that the first offer was labelled “derisory and insulting” by Toffees boss Roberto Martinez.

Will the Merseysiders continue to hold firm or will Fellaini be a United player on Tuesday morning?

Will he be a Arsenal player on Tuesday morning or heading to France or staying in Spain? It looks likely but you never know in football.
