Madden 25: Rookie Quarterbacks Perfect to Use in Owner Mode
Go ahead and start that rookie quarterback. Who's going to fire you? You're the owner.
That's what you can be looking at with Madden 25. Owner Mode has officially returned, which is great news for fans. It was one of the best modes in the game, and it's return has been long overdue. You can find a more in-depth breakdown of Owner Mode on Madden's official site.
Since you're the owner, you might as well wipe the slate clean and get a fresh start. A strong rookie quarterback can be a great asset, as there's nothing stopping him from becoming the bedrock of your franchise.

It's always more fun to take a promising player and make him good, rather than controlling somebody like Peyton Manning or Tom Brady.
With those things in mind, here are four quarterbacks who are perfect for when you want to start your Owner Mode.
Geno Smith, New York Jets, OVR 73
Surprise, surprise, the New York Jets quarterback situation is just as messy in Madden as it is in real life. As their slogan goes, if it's in the game, it's in the game.
Geno Smith's 73 overall rating is the same as Mark Sanchez's, so there's no real reason not to go with Smith when you begin the 2013 season with the Jets. It's not like there's a massive learning curve for rookie QBs in Madden. Plus, you only have to deal with the dejection of virtual Sanchez, rather than Rex Ryan watching the real Sanchez crumble around him.
Smith has a style and skill set that's tailor-made for video games. He's got enough speed to be a threat on the ground, and he's not a completely inept passer.
EJ Manuel, Buffalo Bills, OVR 74
Madden might be a close approximation of the real thing, but there's no chance Kevin Kolb is going to slip on a mat and get hurt, thus opening the door for EJ Manuel. Chances are, you won't really need a reason to start Manuel.
He's got a strong overall rating (74), and his speed is very high (83) as well. Much like Smith, Manuel has the skill set that most gamers go to when they play a video game. You always like having a quick quarterback because then you add that different dimension offensively.
When the Buffalo Bills selected Manuel in the draft, it was a bit of a head-scratcher. In Madden, it would be more of a head-scratcher if you didn't start him in Week 1.
Tyler Wilson, Oakland Raiders, OVR 69
If you chose an Owner Mode with the Oakland Raiders, then you must have done something wrong. Are you sure you want the Raiders? Are you moving them back to Los Angeles or something?
Well, if you're going to run with Oakland, you might as well start from the ground up.
You'd think Terrelle Pryor would be the much better option to roll with in Owner Mode. However, there's a fine line between having a quarterback who can run and having a quarterback who can only run. Pryor is on the wrong side of that line.
Tyler Wilson is the much more accurate passer. Considering you'll probably have to get rid of the ball quickly as a result of poor pass protection, you'd much rather have a QB who can hit his receivers.
Plus, Al Davis would be proud of you going with the guy who's got the strong arm, and not much else.
