Braves' Elliot Johnson Goes Full NASCAR in Hilarious Postgame Interview
It seems Elliot Johnson is rather enjoying his time with the Atlanta Braves.
In just six games with the club, the infielder has raised his batting average, stolen a base, made people laugh and even hit a triple.
It's that last fact that led to Johnson giving a postgame recap with all the sponsor speak usually reserved for NASCAR interviews.

Livvy Dunne Explains Trending Reaction 🤣
Yahoo! Sports spotted this moment of hilarity after Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Indians. First, Johnson gets a cookie-cutter question about his triple.
Instead of offering up some clichéd response about just trying to help the team or stretching a double whenever he gets the chance, he delves deep into the land of NASCAR with a beauty of an answer. Thanks to Yahoo! Sports' transcription, we can appreciate some of that response below:
"Well, you know, the Time Warner Cable Roadrunner High-Speed Internet car's been running good all day. You gotta say thanks to Chick-fil-A, NAPA Autoparts — they pitched in — they've been great sponsors all year. We had a fast car all day, you knew we were going too fast; We got a little loose in the rear, I guess that's why we were faster. And then once we got out front, I wanted to come in and talk to the crew chief and get it tightened up so that we could make the adjustment once we got ahead, you know, and keep the car on the road and stay off the wall.
"
Now we sit patiently for Johnson to hit another triple.
The second baseman isn't going to dominate headlines on a nightly basis—he only garnered a pinch-hit opportunity in the Braves' win the following night. However, he is quickly becoming a fan favorite.
Some of you might already be well acquainted with his flawless Harry Caray impersonation. If not, you can take a gander here.
You also have to love how he responds to Tim Kurkjian apparently stating some convoluted stat in regards to Johnson's triple.
Johnson is loving life and cracking jokes as a new member of a first-place team. Braves fans can sit back and enjoy the hilarity from here on out.
