Offensive Line Struggles Could Hold Buffalo Bills Back
Two rookies on the offensive line will not play consistently enough for the Buffalo Bills to be successful in 2009. They're not physically strong enough yet to deal with the top-notch nose tackles they will face in the AFC East and the rest of the league.
The offensive line is the foundation of the house. Right now, Buffalo has a pretty nice house, but a shaky foundation.
Langston Walker is huge but not mobile enough to play left tackle. He is a good right tackle that gives up sacks or gets beat by quicker defensive players. He will need to lose some weight to play left tackle to gain some some mobility. Geoff Hangartner is a nice pickup but not a superstar lineman. Demetrius Bell has the frame and the athletic ability to play left tackle but he likely is not ready.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The no-huddle with a spread formation is Buffalo's best offense, given its offensive line talent and lack of experience, chemistry with each other, etc.
Trent Edwards needs to improve his ability to audible at the line, and Buffalo needs some quick passing schemes such as what New England uses with Wes Welker.
Roscoe Parrish is small but should be able to sneak underneath on short routes and occasionally burn the defense for a deep pass. He could be a legitimate difference maker to take the pressure off of a struggling line.
James Hardy needs to step up this year. If he lives up to his potential, Buffalo will have the best overall receiving corps in the league.
Lee Evans is super fast, an excellent route runner and has great hands. T.O. is a big, physical receiver, a future Hall of Famer that still can play. Josh Reed is tough, has excellent hands and is good at down-the-field blocking. Parrish is as fast as a greased rabbit riding a lightning bolt.
It would be a shame if Edwards can't get them the ball because he doesn't have time to make his reads.
