We Remember: Reggie Bush Gets Lit Up by the Eagles' Sheldon Brown

Tristan ThornburghJun 8, 2018

Back in 2006, New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush was a rookie coming off a Heisman-winning season at USC and was playing in his first NFL playoff game.

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Sheldon Brown said "welcome to the NFL, rookie" during the 2006 NFC divisional playoff game with a crushing, blindsided hit on a screen pass to break up the play that left Bush slow to get up.

Despite the jarring hit, the Saints went on to beat the Eagles by a score of 27-24.
