Fantasy Baseball Free Agent Pool: Strikeout Kings
Some reasonably available players to assist you in the Strikeouts category. Realize that some of these will come with high ERAs & WHIPs because if a pitcher has low numbers in those categories and a good K total, they’re already spoken for.
Matt Palmer, Los Angeles Angels- Matt went 2-0 last week with 13 Ks, a 3.14 ERA, and a 0.84 WHIP. His K/9 ratio was 8.16 and his K/BB ratio was 2.6. Jordan Zimmermann, Washington Nationals- Jordan was awful last week with a 8.25 ERA and 1.50 WHIP. He was bailed out by his Offense getting him two no-decisions. He did manage 12 Ks though if you need help there. His K/9 ratio was 9.0 and his K/BB ratio was 2.4. On the year he’s 2-1 with 26 K, a 5.90 ERA, and a 1.41 WHIP.
