Willian to Chelsea: Blues Agree to Sign Anzhi Midfielder

Chelsea announced the completion of the deal with Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala to land Willian on Wednesday, Aug. 28.

Chelsea first announced the agreement on Sunday, Aug. 25:

Chelsea Football Club can confirm an agreement has been reached with both Willian and his club Anzhi Makhachkala for the transfer of the Brazilian player.

"

Though the club didn't confirm details of the agreement, BBC Sport reported on Aug. 23 the deal would be for £30 million:

On Wednesday, Aug. 28, David Kent of the Daily Mail reported "Willian completed his £32million move to Chelsea."
