Carolina Panthers: A Rookie in the Ranks
Why is it that a man automatically thinks a woman doesn't know anything, or want to know anything about football?
As a child, I remember wanting to ask questions about what was going on and being told "Wait 'til the commercial." All I wanted to know was why the little yellow flag was on the ground.
These days I can admit I am still no expert, but I am a lot better that I used to be.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Meaning, I can tell you why the little yellow flag was thrown in most cases. I owe this to my time on my college football team's film crew. In order to produce an actuate film I had to know the plays, players, and positions on the field. During this time I became more than just a spectator.
Looking at the Carolina Panthers playbook from a spectators viewpoint I noticed most of the plays relied mostly on the talent and accuracy of Jake Delhomme chucking the ball halfway down the field. Judging by their last game, it is clear a change needed to happen.
I am not saying completely cut Delhomme out of the picture, but there has to be options.
Knowing this, it is my opinion that this season the Panthers need to worry less about long bombs and big catches, and concentrate on their running game and defense. Steve Smith is an excellent receiver and he can be just as vital to the team's victories.
Again, this is coming from a rookie in the ranks and I might be way off the mark. The Panthers have a good defensive line and will come in handy when it comes to the season this year.
