Running Back/Kick Returner

Height: 5-8

Weight: 202

Opening Day Age 27 (8/29/82)

1. You missed the start of Monday’s organized team activities. Are you concerned about possibly getting off to a bad start with a new head coach?

2. Why did you change agents to Alvin Keels?

3. Would you sit out training camp if your contract situation isn't remedied by then?

4. Are you prepared to sit out the season if the Jets say they won’t negotiate a new deal until after the season?

5. Do you believe Thomas Jones’s contract issues helps your situation, or hurts it?

6. Hard to believe the Jets could go into 2009 without their two best running backs, including you coming off an All-Pro season. Have you spoken with Thomas at all about your mutual contract issues?

7. What’s your opinion of the Jets drafting Iowarunning back Shonn Greene?

8. Now let’s assume that you and the Jets come to an agreement on a contract. The Jets were 8-3 after 11 games last season and coming off victories at New England and Tennessee. Can you put your finger on what went wrong down the stretch?

9. You led the NFL in all-purpose yards last year. Do you prefer being utilized the way the Jets utilize you, or would you rather be an every down back?

10. Do you believe head coach Rex Ryan sees you as an every down back?

11. How does offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer define your role in the offense?

12. As a feature back in the NFL, what kinds of numbers do you think you would put up?

13. Clearly, you should have been drafted before the fourth round? How do you deal with always having to prove yourself because you’re 5-8?

14. What do you think Rex Ryan will bring to the Jets that the team may have lacked last season?

15. Can Mark Sanchez, as a rookie quarterback, lead the Jets to the playoffs?

16. Considering how many draft picks and players were traded to get Sanchez, if he should prove that he’s not ready to start in 2009, would the Jets be in trouble?

17. Without Laveranues Coles, the Jets appear thin at wide receiver. What’s your opinion of the receivers here?

18. You’re a playmaker on offense and special teams. What would you say to someone who thinks the Jets don’t have enough playmakers on offense?

19. You’re definitely a favorite of the Jet fans. What do you think they see in you?

20. Of all the people who congratulated you when you made All-Pro, which one was the most surprising?

21. Finish this sentence for me: The Jets will make the playoffs if …

Thank you for your time, Leon.
